Features I Love about this 20 Inch Gas Chainsaw

The twenty inch bar and chain on this saw is large enough that even a commercial logging professional could use the saw to cut the wood they cut. You will also be able to trim those limbs you want to trim if you buy this saw, because even with the twenty inch bar it is light weight, and the low vibration feature will help to reduce the strain on your arms.

When I bought my first piece of property and began to look for a chainsaw for sale I really did not know what features that come on a chainsaw would be useful to me. The features in this chainsaw review are ones that I found to be useful for me.

Quick Release Air Filter

If you have ever used a chainsaw at all then you know that the air filter on these machines must be cleaned often. On normal saws getting to the air filter is difficult to do. On this saw the manufacturer has made a quick release that allows you to get to the saw’s air filter without any tools, or having to remove anything from the saw.

You will be able to maintain your saw easily and keep it in perfect working order. That means your equipment will last longer and do more work for you.

Forged Three Piece Crankcase

A crankcase needs to be tough so that it protects your inner workings of your machine. It also takes the majority of the punishment that is dished out while you are cutting firewood.

Special Purchase Incentive

The manufacturer has offered a special incentive bonus to anyone who purchases this gas chainsaw and three of the thirty two ounce cans of pre-mixed fuel made by Husqvarna. The special offer also says that you must register your chainsaw purchase online to qualify for the two year extension on your consumer warranty.

If you buy the saw, plus three cans of the Husqvarna thirty two ounces of pre mixed fuel, and you register the product online, then Husqvarna will extend the warranty from a two year consumer warranty to a four year consumer warranty. That is an exceptional deal since you are going to have to purchase fuel for the saw in order to operate it, and you will need to register it online in order to b e compliant with the manufacturer warranty. It is a win/win deal.

Final Thoughts

Every home owner really needs to own a chainsaw. If you have property there will be times when you will have limbs fall on your property. Some of those limbs will be too big and too heavy for you to move them easily. A saw will allow you to shorten the pieces so you can easily pick them up and move them.

If you have a fireplace then you will want wood to burn in it. The wood that you burn in a fireplace will save you a lot of money if you saw the trees down for yourself and cut the firewood up for yourself. If you hire someone to cut your firewood for you then you will spend as much money on the heating of your home as the people who use gas or electric as a fuel source.

A chainsaw is a serious tool and you should wear protective gloves and eye goggles when you operate one of these machines. You should always wear shoes when you operate a chainsaw, and you should never go to cut firewood without taking someone else with you.
